Amazing, sad, grim, heartwrenching story. I finished it a week ago. There were points in the story when I had to close the book i.e. Beli's beating and the book's end. Diaz is a great writer, mixing slang, wit, humor and history all in one. I got through it and I look forward to meeting with you all.
